Dehradun. The 48th WorldSkills Competition, staged in Shanghai from 22 to 27 September, saw India return home with six silver medals and twenty Medallions of Excellence. This haul lifted the nation to a 10th‑place ranking – its strongest performance ever on the WorldSkills stage.
Uttarakhand’s Champions Light Up the Global Arena
Two young talents from Uttarakhand were pivotal to the success. Sania Joshi captured a silver medal in the Retail Sales discipline, while Parth Vohra earned silver in Industrial Design Technology.
