New Delhi. A 17‑year‑old male was allegedly attacked with knives in the Trilokpuri sector of Mayur Vihar, reportedly as retaliation for an old rivalry. Police have filed an attempted murder case and taken three juveniles into custody, while two of the alleged weapons have been recovered. A search operation is still under way to locate a fourth youngster believed to be involved.
According to officials, a distress call was received at approximately 9:30 pm on Wednesday reporting that a teenager had been stabbed in the 30 Block area. Officers from the Mayur Vihar police station promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to LBS Hospital for emergency care.
Because his injuries were serious, doctors transferred him to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for advanced treatment. Police confirmed that the boy’s condition has since stabilised.
Investigators uncovered that the victim had a prior confrontation with another minor about fifteen days earlier. It is alleged that the teenager and his friends had assaulted that youngster during the earlier clash. Authorities believe the lingering animosity prompted the assailants to ambush the teen and stab him with knives.
Three juveniles have been detained and are currently being questioned. Simultaneously, police teams are conducting raids at suspected hide‑outs to locate the remaining suspect. The investigation continues to piece together the exact sequence of events and assign responsibility to each participant.
