Serious Injuries Reported for Two Family Members
In Delhi’s Farsh Bazaar area, specifically Bhikam Singh Colony, two occupants of a rented house on Gali No. 2 suffered grave injuries after an alleged attack on Tuesday. The victims were immediately taken to a nearby medical facility for emergency care.
Earlier Threats and Relocation
Police records reveal that the family originally lived in Seemapuri before moving to Shahdara in search of a safer environment. According to relatives, they had received threats from the same individuals earlier, and the assailants appear to have tracked the family to their new address, launching a fresh assault despite the relocation.
Police Action on the Ground
Senior Delhi Police officials arrived swiftly, cordoned off the scene, and began a thorough investigation. Teams are canvassing the neighbourhood, questioning witnesses, and collecting forensic evidence to piece together the chain of events.
A sizable gathering of onlookers formed at the site as the inquiry progressed, underscoring the community’s alarm over the violent episode.
Demand for Prompt Justice
Family members have pressed for immediate and strict action against the perpetrators. Investigators are currently validating the threats, identifying suspects, and probing the possible motive behind the assault.
The case remains under active investigation, and officials have promised to release further updates as new details emerge.
