Operating turnover hits Rs 5,788 crore
Trent Ltd, the retail flagship of the Tata Group, posted standalone operating revenue of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter, marking a 23 % increase year‑on‑year over the Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.
The six‑month total (April‑September) also surged, climbing to Rs 11,454 crore, up 21 % YoY, highlighting the sustained momentum across its brand suite.
Zudio breaks the 1,000‑store barrier
Value‑fashion chain Zudio celebrated the launch of its 1,000th outlet during the quarter, adding a net 17 new stores. Its sister brand Westside contributed 10 additional locations to the network.
Together, Trent’s portfolio now operates 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, underscoring an aggressive push into tier‑II and tier‑III cities.
Analyst sentiment turns bullish
U.S. brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent, assigning a ‘Buy’ rating and citing the company’s consistent top‑line expansion and its aggressive rollout strategy.
Store rollout remains the growth catalyst
With Zudio now beyond the 1,000‑store milestone and the broader network exceeding 1,300 outlets, Trent is cementing its position as a leading force in India’s organised retail landscape. Investors are closely monitoring how fresh store openings will translate into higher earnings going forward.
