Exam Schedule and Mode
The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has finalized the Group‑B Nursing Officer selection exam for 21 October 2026. The assessment will be administered as a Computer‑Based Test (CBT) in the morning session, following the timetable released on 5 October.
Release of Hall Tickets
Hall tickets are expected to be uploaded on the portal by 14 October 2026. Candidates should download their admit cards from the official website pgimer.edu.in.
Steps to Retrieve the Admit Card
Log in with the same user ID and password used during the online application, then go to Students > Info for Candidates. Once the file appears, save it promptly and verify that all personal information is accurate.
Details on Examination Centres
The admit card will list the candidate’s roll number, allotted centre, complete address, and reporting time, along with gate‑opening and closing timings and other vital instructions. Review these details carefully before departure to avoid any last‑minute confusion.
City Allocation Notification
Applicants who completed the online registration will receive an email specifying the city of their assigned centre. PGIMER urges candidates to monitor their registered email regularly. While the institute attempts to honor the city preference indicated, allocations are subject to seat availability, infrastructure, and logistical considerations, which may result in a centre outside the chosen city or even in a different state.
Policy on Centre Changes
Requests for changing the allotted centre will not be entertained. Candidates must accept the venue printed on the admit card and arrange travel only after confirming the final location.
Application Window Closure
The online application period closed on 3 October 2026. Those who submitted their forms can still view and download their applications from the recruitment portal until 11:55 pm on 6 October 2026. After this cutoff, the portal will be deactivated.
